April 24, 2019: P-day This P-day was a little different for us because Josh and I were vacationing in Hawaii.  It was a little tricky to connect with Hawaii being 5 hours behind Kentucky time.  We were able to connect and it was so good to hear from him.  He had mentioned he had some different challenges arise and it was so good to talk through them. All in all he's doing great and we continue to be so proud of him.   Ohhhh yeahh another pday email from elder wiser here we go. This week has been another awesome week of improving, learning, and teaching! It kinda started out slow because Elder Perkinson down and out with a soar throat the first couple of days so we chilled in the apartment and there is not much to do other than exercise, eat, and read scriptures. Easter was awesome! We got to go up to Paducah for Stake Conference and it was crazy seeing so many members at once hahaha at the end there were some Colombian girls tha...

April 17, 2019: P-day This morning he forwarded an email he shared with his Mission President to us.  It was so powerful and you could see the growth that he has already had in the last 3 months.  It's so crazy to me when your children get older, and that parental "teacher" role is lessened and the roles reverse more often than not and you learn so much from them.   We have learned so much from Drew while he has served on his mission.  Even though we miss him so much we know he is exactly where he is supposed to be.    Holy cowww this past week has been amazing! For multiple reasons! A highlight of the week was getting to go to the temple Saturday with one of our recent converts the whole way there and back we relistened to the most recent general conference. On the way to the temple the talk by Brook P Hales Answers to Pray really struck me especially when he told the story about the overcoat! I would highly recommend giving that a list...

April 10, 2019: P-day Today he has been out in the field for 6 weeks.  That means possible transfers.  He got word that he is staying in Mayfield with Elder Perkinson.  So no changes but he was totally fine with that.  He really loves his companion and I'm so grateful they get along so well.  He also told us that he was headed to the big city of Nashville to explore for the day. A kind member with a truck gave them a ride so that they could take their bikes and check out Nashville.  He was so excited.  Because they would be gone the majority of the day he wasn't able to call home.  We were so okay with that especially knowing he was off exploring and having that fun opportunity.  At the end of the day, on his way back home, he messaged us a picture of a belt buckle he had bought while in Nashville.  It was awesome!!!  Someones turning a little more country.  So glad he had such a great p-day!! ...

Wednesday, April 3rd:  P-day He called in the morning and mentioned that today they were headed to Paducah for a zone conference.  They have a car but because of milage they needed to ask a member to take them there and back.  I am so grateful for kind people that will sacrifice their time and money to help them out.  Paducah is about 26 miles away from their area of Mayfield. He was hoping to get a bike while in the city.  The member was so so kind and took him to the bike store so he could get one.  Its always fun to talk to him.  He loves to talk and share the details of his life.  I'm so grateful for that.  I'm also grateful he continues to share emails.  We were so touched by this one and are so grateful for his example.     Hey everybody!! Its been another crazy week of missionary work, gotta love it :)  Thursday and friday we finished up paint and fixing a members of the branch new house cuz h...
