April 17, 2019: P-day
This morning he forwarded an email he shared with his Mission President to us. It was so powerful and you could see the growth that he has already had in the last 3 months. It's so crazy to me when your children get older, and that parental "teacher" role is lessened and the roles reverse more often than not and you learn so much from them. We have learned so much from Drew while he has served on his mission. Even though we miss him so much we know he is exactly where he is supposed to be.
Holy cowww this past week has been amazing! For multiple reasons! A highlight of the week was getting to go to the temple Saturday with one of our recent converts the whole way there and back we relistened to the most recent general conference. On the way to the temple the talk by Brook P Hales Answers to Pray really struck me especially when he told the story about the overcoat! I would highly recommend giving that a listen even if you already heard once hahah. Also while your at it give Russell M Nelson's talk from the 2018 spring conference about revelation a listen too. Hahaha you wont regret it!
I testify that God is aware of each of us, he knows our needs and will help us perfectly BUT it will be on his timing! When you all pray I invite you to tell Heavenly Father your desires, your strengths and your weakness and ask what you can do to improve and THEN LISTEN!! Collect all your thoughts and feelings, write them down! I know personal revelation is a real thing! I have recieved so much help and learned so much from it.
My email this week is short cuz I wanna play soccer! Hahah But I hope that you all know that I love and care about you guys and so does God! I'm excited for the future and grateful for the past! I hope we can all remember Christ in this special Easter time of the year! Think about everything he has made possible for you and your families! Then have a desire to share what we have, the fullness of Christ gospel with others! To all my missionary cats in this group, I invite you all to think how we can be more committed to our missions because that is the true measurement of success not just in mission but in every aspect of our lives! :) nos vemos amigos
Hahahaha also this week I convinced my comp to shave his head hahaha

| Franklin, Tennessee temple. Just outside of Nashville. |
| Traveling to or from the temple. I don't know which. If I remember right the guy on the far left is a members son who is special needs. |
| I don't know what Elder Perkinson quite thought of the wrap around side hug. :) |
| Another beautiful sunset. |
| Still workin out. |
| Looks like some of the member kids share the same love for snakes that Drew has. |
| I think he found himself a little buddy :) |
| He's had the chance to do some family history. He found out my moms grandpa (so his great, great grandpa) and him share the same date of birth. |
| He also found out he might have served a mission close to the same area as him. |
