Gringo in Nashville

April 10, 2019: P-day

Today he has been out in the field for 6 weeks. That means possible transfers. He got word that he is staying in Mayfield with Elder Perkinson. So no changes but he was totally fine with that. He really loves his companion and I'm so grateful they get along so well. He also told us that he was headed to the big city of Nashville to explore for the day. A kind member with a truck gave them a ride so that they could take their bikes and check out Nashville. He was so excited. Because they would be gone the majority of the day he wasn't able to call home. We were so okay with that especially knowing he was off exploring and having that fun opportunity. At the end of the day, on his way back home, he messaged us a picture of a belt buckle he had bought while in Nashville. It was awesome!!! Someones turning a little more country. So glad he had such a great p-day!!

Hey everyone!!

Another awesome week getting to serve the Lord :) busy week with finding more people to teach, I finally got a bike and it's so fun to ride around town. Its so pretty here everything is blooming and its sooo green here, the weather here is awesome! This week was special because it was conference weekend!

Oh my goodness conference was amazing, this was my first time watching all the sessions plus priesthood at the end I ended up having like 10 pages of notes! I loved every talk but if I had to pick a favorite other then of course President Nelson cuz President Nelson is the goat hahah I would say Juan Pablo Villar titled Excercising our Spiritual Muscles I would invite all of you to hear it if you didn't get the opportunity too. I liked his because I love to exercise my physical body and i loved to hear about the nessicity of exercising our "spiritual muscles" through not just reading the scriptures and praying but also sharing the beautiful blessing we have of the true gospel of jesus christ! He also shared my mission scripture Ether 12 : 27 :) all the talks were awesome!

This world is a crazy place but I know if we center ourselves, and our homes around christ and his gospel we will be protected from the storm of the adversary and we will be truly (eternally) happy ! I'm sorry I dont really have alot of time to write this week but I love and miss you all. I love to hear all the updates in your lifes keep em coming!!
