Wednesday, April 3rd: P-day
He called in the morning and mentioned that today they were headed to Paducah for a zone conference. They have a car but because of milage they needed to ask a member to take them there and back. I am so grateful for kind people that will sacrifice their time and money to help them out. Paducah is about 26 miles away from their area of Mayfield. He was hoping to get a bike while in the city. The member was so so kind and took him to the bike store so he could get one. Its always fun to talk to him. He loves to talk and share the details of his life. I'm so grateful for that. I'm also grateful he continues to share emails. We were so touched by this one and are so grateful for his example.

Hey everybody!!
Its been another crazy week of missionary work, gotta love it :)
Thursday and friday we finished up paint and fixing a members of the branch new house cuz her old house caught on fire. we also have been finding a ton more people to teach, I'm getting more confident and pretty good if I dont say so myself at door approaches when we tract, you may not think it's that much of a skill but man oh man it sure is in the south you never know when someone is gonna try to bible bash with you and I honestly have learned so much from the bible because of bible bashing hahaha it's the best!
Tracting is honestly so fun because you get the opportunity to meet so many different people! One example is we were tracting last Saturday and it was dumping rain on us and we met an atheist that had some very interesting things to say and beliefs hahaha. Another example Sunday night we met a guy named Don and he invited us and explained to us how he was fluent in Greek and Hebrew and he believed that no version of the Bible were actually translated correctly from the original Hebrew text.
Monday and tuesday we had a blitz exchange with the Elders in Paris, TN. Its was so fun. I went with Elder Pohulu and we killed it we found 4 people to teach and testified to 12 people in an hour and a half! Me and him tracted a street that I had been wanting to tract for a while now and with the results we had after I truly believe the I was impressed to tract there by the spirit. So awesome :) Elder Pohulu is such a stud hes poly and from southern california. Exchanges are awesome cuz you learn so much from all the other missionaries!
Teaching this week I've had some of the best experiences in my whole mission which I know isn't alot but they were still cool! Specifically when Me and Elder Pohulu were tracting on THE street and it was our last door and this guy named Rex opens the door and we are talking to him and teach him a brief restoration lesson and when Elder Pohulu recited the first vision the spirit was soo strong and the guy gets watery eyes and tells us it's so crazy we met him at this time in his life cuz he struggling alot right now in his life, it was a very cool moment and I'm excited to keep teaching him! The other really cool time was yesterday me and Elder Perkinson had some time left before our dinner appointment so we went up to a random door. It was just the screen door and we knocked and they said who is it and our reply was the missionaries and they invited us in and the guy turned out to be blind and be a local teacher at a Baptist church and his wife only had one leg but they were some of the coolest people I've met anyways I taught them I summarized restoration lesson while Elder Perkinson kept their crazy dog occupied hahaha, always the crown jewel of the the restoration is the first vision and I recited it and it was so quite afterwards and the spirit in the room was extremely strong and the man started to cry and told us that he really wanted to know how he could listen to the book of mormon! He was the sweetest guy and I'm excited to keep teaching him :)
I love teaching people because when I'm teaching I learn so many new things from the spirit telling me what to say and when to say it is truly an amazing opportunity to be a missionary I wouldn't want to do anything else in my life right now! I'm all in, I love my mission so much! I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, a long with the Bible. I love both books even though the bible can be a little confusing at times hahaha I know Joseph Smith was the restoring Prophet of Christ gospel in these last days, I'm so grateful for him and his life that he dedicated and gave up to the Church of Jesus Christ! Lastly and most importantly I have learned so much about Jesus Christ as our Lord, Savior, Redeemer and our brother! Our brother that cared so much about all of us that he gave his own life and paid the ultimate price so that we could return to live with our earthly families and God after this life! I cant put into words how grateful I am for him and his example to me!
I love and miss you all! I hope you all are doing well! I wouldn't be mad if you guys let me know what's going on in your lifes :) nos vemos
