Wednesday, January 15: P-day Oh. My. Gosh.  He hit his year mark!!!  Go DREW!!!  I was kind of stressing of what to do for him for his year mark.  I wanted it to be more meaningful than just a box of treats.  He had mentioned earlier to me that I should be proud of him for only using one towel for a year.  For Drew, that is a major accomplishment.  Before his mission I would go up to his room and find all the towels he had used throughout the week left on the floor.  I think at one time they totaled 14!!!! I mean I guess I should be glad he was showering but really!!   So for sure a fresh, clean, NEW towel was on the list.  I also thought what a great time it would be with being the first of the year and goal setting in mind to focus on something that could remind him of perspective.  I found a little book called, "Make Your Bed" written by the retired Seal Admiral.  Reminding Drew of even a shift in our mindsets can cha...

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm so...

Wednesday, December 4: P-day Oh my goodness!!  I'm a little behind and I'll admit it's been quite the roller coaster here and for Drew.  He celebrated his 20th birthday on Monday the 2nd.  We quite missed him but the members in McMinnville have been so good to him and helped him celebrate.  I will forever be indebted to the Peterson family and the love they have shown him.  I hope to meet them someday.  Buenooo todos  First off I wanna apologize, P-Days go by so flippin fast and recently I have slacked at writing a weekly email! These past couple of week have been muy sombroso! I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!! The Wednesday before was our PDay and we played a football turkey bowl game with the young men and some of the elders quorum. It was so flippin fun! Afterwards we went with some of the young men up to some waterfall hikes. At one of the waterfalls I tried gettin a cool pic on a rock close by it and my phone slipped o...
