Wednesday, January 2: P-day

I can't believe we are 2 weeks away from his year mark.  Our neighbors moved out to Nashville end of November.  Ashley, the mom, has texted me that they share the same church building as the Nashville, TN mission offices.  She has made serious efforts in reaching out to him.  Her kindness towards Drew totally touched my heart.  I think the holidays can be a little hard for missionaries.  I know they have been for Drew.  His mission has had unexpected twists and turns of feeling defeated and wondering why is even out there.  For this, I am so grateful for the weekly calls.  That we can talk through things and remind him that this experience, even taking religion completely out of it, is invaluable.  Life lessons he would probably never quite learn at this level.  Hats off to all missionaries at any amount of service they give.

HEY EVERYONE!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm sorry i have been terrible at writing emails and keepin yall updated. i hope all of you have had an awesome December and a Merry Christmas. We had a Christmas mission conference and the whole mission got together. It was so much fun. Its always a good time to see all the amigos I have made while out on the mission. #theboyzzzzzz hahaaha. We had the Nashville Tribute Band come and sing to of us. It was sweeet. Transfers was also that same day, earlier in the week I had found out that I was going back to Murfreesboro or THE BORO w Elder Richards. Im so grateful fo the oppurtunity to serve here again. I love the Branch here so much!

While we doing transfers after mission conference The Wimmers (a family from back Home in St George who had moved to Nashville) came and said hey! It was so good to see them! They also took me and and my comp out to dinner, shout out to them. They are the best :)

My time here back in the Boro has been awesome! My spanish has gotten so much better so now I can actually talk with these cats hahaha and a lot of the people from the branch remembered me and told me they are happy to see me back! Also we are teaching some awesome people and have someone on date for Baptism! Soooo stoked! The Holidays here was sickkkk. Christmas Eve we went to La Familia Barcenas de Nicaragua and they made a super good dinner and also gave us ties. In the Latino culture they celebrate Christmas the 24th. Christmas Day was hyppee it was also pday so we went out with a bunch of other missionaries and played disk golf and the Legendary David (super nice member from english ward in Smryna) had us all come over for a BOMB christmas dinner! There was some homemade eggnog that was soo good. For New Years we and my comp bought some Martinellis and stayed up till 12 hahaha and had ourselves a little party #rebels

So crazy that I'm about to hit my year mark! I'm so pumped for this year and equally grateful for the past year! I say this all the time but I really have learned so many priceless things out here on the mission and even though it's tough at times I would highly reccomend anyone that can go to consider serving!

I love yall!!
