March 27, 2019: P-day Que tal todos!  This week has been bland nothing to crazy happened. We focused alot on service them members of the branch. We are really trying to build our relationships with them so that they will want to help with the missionary work in the area!  The main service we have been doing is yardwork and painting, we have painted so much lately. We've helped one member paint all the trim in her farm house and then another members apartment caught on fire and we have helped her set up another house for her to live in and paint that house. Yeah service is the best! It helps you forget about your yourself and worry about other which brings so much happiness!  Lately I feel like I have a problem with laughing to much hahaha my companion is the funniest dude ever. Some examples are when we take pics he purposely tries to look awkward, we have a bunch a voices we do with each other like Indian telemarketers and pure hillbilly and a bunch of oth...

March 20, 2019: P-day Wednesdays are the new favorite day around here. It will never get old to see his face and get the update of the past week.  So proud of him. Yooo hey everybody!!! Its been a wild week out here in Kentucky! Thursday was so windy! There were a couple tornados in the area, one started up in Mayfield but didnt do much damage. Another hit Paducah and wrecked a church but no one was injured so that's good. Also we had zone conference that day and it's always good to hear from President Stone and get to know more missionaries in the mission!  The weekend we scheduled a bunch of service and helping members out with anything! We helped this lady paint her house and helped another member with some landscaping in his yard and a bunch of other stuff which was fun! :)  Sunday I wore all my green cuz of Saint Patrick's day and I was one of the only ones that remembered Haha but its chill. Also our new recent concert Rita bought two new people t...

March 6, 2019 Wednesday P-day: I had messaged him on Sunday, letting him know my schedule for Monday.  Just in case he wanted to call on Monday..his p-day (so I thought).  Come to find out his p-days are on Wednesdays.  Dang.  We had to wait a couple more days to hear the report.  It was all good though.  He texted bright and early...6:45, wondering when a good time to call would be.  We decided later that day but we were able to message him through out the day and he told us details of how his week went.  He's doing so good.  This makes me so happy.    What in tarnation!! this week and a half has been crazy! My last couple days in the MTC were a ton of emotions at the same time, sad cuz Im leaving behind so many people I have truly grown to love, but also exciting/ scary because I was finally getting to get out to where I was preparing six weeks for! The night before I left (tuesday) was my last devotional at the MTC ...

February 27, 2019 And he's out of the MTC and headed to Nashville. Started bright and early. He face timed when he got to the airport around 11 and said they met in the travel office at the MT.  They told the 9 of them, 3 sisters and 6 elders headed to Nashville, to go to the bus stop, tranfer to trax, and head to the airport. All he wanted was a Cafe Rio burrito from the SLC airport before he flew out.  He was face timing at the time he was about to order and said, "mom listen, I'm going to order in Spanish."  It was a sweet moment.    About to order his Cafe Rio burrito. He then told me they were flying to Minneapolis for an hour and a half layover and then they would arrive in Nashville around 5.  We got another face time later that night.  He told us they met the mission president and his wife.  He said they were so awesome.  They ate dinner at the mission home and then...
