And he's out of the MTC and headed to Nashville.
Started bright and early. He face timed when he got to the airport around 11 and said they met in the travel office at the MT. They told the 9 of them, 3 sisters and 6 elders headed to Nashville, to go to the bus stop, tranfer to trax, and head to the airport. All he wanted was a Cafe Rio burrito from the SLC airport before he flew out. He was face timing at the time he was about to order and said, "mom listen, I'm going to order in Spanish." It was a sweet moment.

He then told me they were flying to Minneapolis for an hour and a half layover and then they would arrive in Nashville around 5. We got another face time later that night. He told us they met the mission president and his wife. He said they were so awesome. They ate dinner at the mission home and then were disbursed to members homes for their first night. What a whirlwind. But he made it safe and he was happy. The next day we got an email from his mission president, President Stone, telling us his first area would be in Mayfield, Kentucky. His new senior companion/trainer was Elder Perkinson from Arizona. Mayfield is a small farming community. We are so anxious to hear about his first few days in the field. For those of you that would like to write him a letter (those are his favorite) his address is:
304 Megan Drive
Mayfield, KY 42066
