He wrote an email!!!!!! He hit his 6 month mark back on the 16th. I'm not going to lie it feels more like 6 years here but I wouldn't wish for him to be anywhere else. His emails blow us away. He has grown sooooooo much!! And I know it hasn't been the easiest thing either but that is where a lot of the growth has come from. We are super proud of him and we learn so much from him.

Whaddup everybody,

I know it's been a sec since I wrote a weekly email, but I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive and todo bien (all is well) :)

Gotta love good old missionary work especially when its 95 degrees with 95 percent humidity hahaha. Even though it's hot as poo out here we have met and are teaching some awesome people! Also my Spanish has improved so much since coming down here to Murfreesboro! It's crazy to think back six months ago and compare what I knew then to what I know now, and that's not only for Spanish but also just overall knowledge about Christ and his church through reading the scriptures and learning from the spirit and people I have met out here. Also serving in the south gives me the unique opportunity to learn about many different churches and their beliefs! I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn more. President and Sister Weaver are the best, we just had Zone Conference with them yesterday. They are so loving and I'm excited to get to know them even better through out my mission! I hit my six months last week! So crazy!!

Lately I have focused my studies on the scattering and gathering of the 12 Tribes of Israel preparatory to the second coming of Christ. It is so interesting and crazy. The scriptures are full of symbolism and it is crazy how much there is. There is too much evidence for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints not to be the true church. We are the only living church on the earth today guided by a prophet! Other churchs have truths and are good, they just lack the fullness of the gospel. From what I have learned, I believe the end is near! And in regards to that it is always darkest before the greatest sunrises! The popular and trendy beliefs of the world right now are so twisted and wrong, all centered on pride and selfishness and to destroy the most important thing any of us have, our families. The last general conference almost every talk was based on strengthening ourselves and our families in the home, by reading and praying, personally and together in order to spiritually survive the battle against sin! I testify the importance of this! Please follow the guidance of our Prophets and Apostles!

I know I am not perfect and that I have weaknesses and have so much to improve on but I also know that through the Atonement of Christ and developing my faith and knowledge through actions I can become my best self! I invited you all to do the same if you think you should work on something. Self evaluate and do the simple things!

One thing I have also thought alot through out my mission is how critical and analytical people can be of the life of Joseph Smith or Brigham Young or other leaders of the church. I recognize that the facts can be very interesting and cool to know but frankly they just don't matter. I've realized through out this past week the most important life on this earth that was the life of Christ and if we analyze any life, it should be his! He is the only perfect example we have had on this earth! Everyone else was human and made mistakes and had weaknesses.

Annnnywayyyss I'll quit preaching to y'all, I hope you all know that I love you all so much and I'm grateful for all of you!! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be apart of such a special work, even the gathering of Israel! And most importantly I'm grateful for Christ, himself! His sacrafice for all of us and giving me the opportunity to be with my family forever! :)
