February 16, 2019 WOW!!! What a week!! We got word on Friday that missionaries would now be able to call, text, or face time on their p-days effective immediately!!! WHAAATT?? I was beyond excited and got quite emotional when I watched the video clip presented by Elder Uchtdorf. This meant that we would be able to see his face and talk to him in one day!! He face timed through google hangouts around 8:00 Saturday morning. We were on our way to Mady's soccer game. It was so good to see his face!! He was eating cereal in the laundry room at the MTC and told us that he was still going to send out an email but he would call again later that day around 4:00. February 9, 2019 He hit his halfway mark in the MTC. We still patiently wait...at least try to..for his emails. This week was another great week for him. We learned that he had become really close to an Elder in his Zone. Elder Evans from Gilbert, AZ. I asked him if he would get his friends parents information so I could text them and get to know them better. Come to find out, once agin, we had ties to Elder Evans parents. His dad is brothers with one of our high school friends (Curtis Taylor's) mom. So crazy. It was fun to connect with them. I'm sure Drew and Elder Evans will be lifelong friends. Hola todos! February 2, 2019 Once again, we found ourselves waiting anxiously to hear how he was doing. His email came through in the morning. He left us tearfully speechless... Whaddup everybody, The mtc has been actually pretty fun! The weather is cold but we aren't outside that much, the food here is actually way good they have so many things you can pick from. If you want you could cereal every meal and I know this surprises you mom but I hardly ever have cereal here hahaha. DOMINGO sacrament was different but good it's just our zone and they have all of us write a talk and then that day choose two people to talk and the talks have to be in spanish hahaha luckily I didn't get picked. All the songs we sing are in spanish and then at the end our zone presidency talks about whatever the weekly topic for sacrament meeting is this sundays topic was charity and love.
