Wednesday, September 25: P-day It was transfers and Drew is staying in McMinnville with Elder Long.  They will continue to be in a trio and welcome Elder Avanzo.  He is from South America.  I think they are both excited to be around an Elder who will be so fluent in Spanish.  They will both miss Elder Burnett.  He is getting transferred to Providence.  His email was so great to read.  He had some really great experiences and is excited about staying in McMinnville.  The ward members there are so good to them and I couldn't be more grateful for that.     Hola todos !  Another AWESOME week here in McMinnville! :) Ive had some awesome experiences that I hope I never forget.  Started it off stronggg thursday we had our mission tour meeting. Elder Nielson of the 70 and executive director of the missionary department and his wife came to our mission along with Elder Rasband of the 70 and his wife (i know...

Wednesday Sept 18: P-day On the 16th we celebrated his 8 month mark!!  It has felt as though he has been gone a lot longer than that but we know he is exactly where he is supposed to be.  Josh reminded me that he is 1/3 of the way done!  I'll take it!  Grateful he gets to call home each week.  He has been a listening ear to some of us when we've needed one and has given some great advice!  He has grown so much in the last 8 months and I'm sure he'll continue to.  We love and miss him and are super proud of all he is doing. hola chumacos! this week has been too good! we have had so much service oppurtunities lately, thursday we were helping a younger couple in the ward finish their home and we got a call from a guy named Ron. Ron asked us if we could bring him a book of mormon and explain it and our church to him....... this was so strange usually we have to try to convince people to talk to us but this guy asked us to come to him, we were so st...

Wednesday, September 4: P-day Feeling super grateful we got a back to back email!!  He's still really enjoying Mcminnville and his trio with Elder Burnett and Elder Long.  Love hearing about his experiences and hearing he is happy. Time is finally starting to pick up here and I'm not mad about it.    Heyyooo  This week was good we had a exchange with the Zone Leaders, me and Elder Long went up to the little tiny town of Altamont, with Elder Wayment. Altamont is the deep south, everone just drives Fourwheelers. They don't follow the speed limit either so I know within the last month there had been two accidents where people died, also shootings happen fairly often here. As missionaries we couldnt tract after dark because people would pull guns on us oof. The town is so crazy, it's like a movie. This is a little town in the south that is pretty sealed off and two families own the town. The only real industry there is Logging. Anyway, we were t...

Wednesday, August 28: P-day Annnnnd transfered....just like that.  He loved his time in the Murfreesboro/Smyrna area and hopes to get back there at some point before his mission ends. It would be so hard to say your good byes especially with the ones you grew close to.  I guess that's pretty normal in the mission life. I went ahead and listened to the BYU speech he recommended, "Wrestling with Comparisons". It was so good and is one of my favorites now.  I also recommend everyone to go and listen.  So grateful for his example to us all. HEYO everyone!! These past couple weeks has been so crazy!! Time has flown by! When transfers happened, I thought I was gonna stay in Murfreesboro BUT I was told Im moving to McMinnville, TN with Elder Burnett and we will be trio training. When I left The Boro it consisted of packing and saying goodbye to all my people in the Branch. Also my last Tuesday there was my last sports night! Sports Ni...
